Act
To make a play (bet, raise, call, fold) while in turn
Action
- A player’s turn to act. The action is yours
- An eagerness to gamble. There’s plenty of action at this table
- All calls related to a bet. For instance, if you bet $10 and three people call that bet, you have $30 worth of action on your $10 bet.
Action Card
A communal card is drawn that causes betting action from multiple players. For instance, if an ace is drawn on the flop, you can expect a lot of action if players are have aces in the pocket.
Active Player
A player that is involved in a pot. If there are side pots, an all-in player may be active in some pots and noth others.
