I&#039;m pretty good at normal maths but with poker maths I feel like Forrest Gump ... so thank you for your attempts to shine some light into the dark treacly morass of my poker brain...  

So in calculating outs you ignore the fact that some of your outs will most likely have already been dealt out to your opponents and you just calculate the potential or possible number of cards?
